Richard was born and raised in Newark, New Jersey and now resides in Cherry Hill, New Jersey with his wife, Merydith. Richard and Merydith have been married for over 21 years and have five children and one grandchild.
Richard received a business management degree from Fairleigh Dickerson University in Teaneck, New Jersey. Richard’s biggest passions in life are his family and friends.
Richard Cohen is dedicated to helping families protect themselves and their retirement savings. He works with his existing clients to make sure their policies are in place and to help new clients find the best products.
Richard reflects often on his life, being thankful for his family and everything he has after being a survivor of 911. After losing his job and having young children during that time, he is proud of the obstacles he had to overcome and the success he has reached.
On his free time, he enjoys the theater and anything sports related. Richard is a big fan of all Chicago sports teams after his father grew up there. He also likes to stay active by working out or playing racquetball. Richard loves to travel, especially to Hawaii. He likes to explore different countries to educate himself and enjoy other cultures.
